FAQs when booking a tarot reading

All answers pertain to me and my practice.

What is the booking process like?

[Regardless of the form of contact] I will ask you questions to find out what you’re hoping to gain from the reading and to clarify the context of the reading. This ensures the right spread is chosen for you and the right focus and intention is put into the reading.

Then we will decide if the reading will be done virtually or in person, both forms are equally as efficient. Virtual readings are done via email and occasionally held as a video chat.

What is a spread?

An outline for a reading.

It will have a set number of cards and an assigned position, or meaning, for each card.

How long does a reading take?

One on one, in person readings last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour on average. It really depends on the verbal exchange; the more dialogue between us, or questions you have, the longer the reading takes. I love conversing with my clients but also understand and respect your privacy. The pace of the reading and the time we spend together is entirely up to you.

How much does a reading cost?

In Person & Virtual Reading Prices:

$5 per card

Event Booking Prices:

In person: $100 (non-refundable) base fee + $120.00 per hour

Virtual: $50 (non-refundable) base fee + $60.00 per hour

My prices are set up this way because I don’t want my clients to feel limited or pressured by time and because I want to keep my services affordable.

Affordability = accessibility.

I’ve never done this before and I’m a bit scared/nervous…

Not a question, but a common concern.

I try to be as aware as possible of my client’s emotional output and I take time to listen to the concerns and needs of each individual. My role is to support you and make sure you are as comfortable as possible through the process. If at any point you wish to end the reading or would like to take a pause, we absolutely can do that. Again, the time we spend together and the pace of the reading is entirely up to you.
